In the modern era, employees prefer to work with an organization which takes profound steps to amplify their skill sets and contribute substantially to improving their knowledge. Techno Infonet has been taking resounding steps for helping Technorians in maximizing their potential. To fulfil this purpose, the company has been arranging numerous training sessions for upscaling both technical skills as well as soft skills. The company firmly believes that soft skills are equally significant as technical skills.

Therefore, an in-depth session of soft skills training was arranged at the premises of Techno Infonet as a part of the Saturday activity for October month. The subject matter expert, Mrs Priyanka Soni conducted this session. Soft skills can be defined as people skills which means the ability to properly interact with others.

In the month of November, a cricket match was organized by the company as part of an outdoor Saturday activity. Technorians reached the GMDC ground for the box cricket match. They were filled with ecstasy and enthusiasm to play and win the match.

Technorians were divided into two teams: Team A and Team B. Team A comprised all marketing enthusiasts, while team B was made up of nerdy developers! It was a series of 3 matches. Surely, the battle was going to be neck to neck as both teams needed to save their reputation and play extremely well.

In the first match, team A won the toss and opted to bowl first. In this match, team B played exceptionally well and posted 60 runs on the scoreboard in 10 overs. Team A failed to meet the score and lost the match by 7 wickets and 20 runs.

For the second match, team A again won the toss and opted to bowl first. In this match, team A packed a punch by enhancing their performance through tactful bowling. Team B gave the target of 40 runs. Team A won the match by smoothly reaching the target in mere 8 overs and 3 wickets.

At last, the much-awaited third and final fixture match was played by Technorians. All players were brimming with next-level energy to win this match. In the toss, team B won and opted to bat first against team A. Team B gave the magnificent score of 52 runs. Team A played extremely well, yet they failed to achieve the target and lost the match.

Hence, team B was announced as the winner of the cricket match. In the end, developers managed to defeat the marketing people. The winning team was rewarded with a trophy. The atmosphere was infused with the loudest voices of “hip-hip-hurray”. Developers enjoyed their victory with immense joy.

At last, Technorians visited the restaurant “Barbeque World” for relishing company-sponsored lunch. They filled their tummies with the tastiest starters, main course, and delicious desserts.

In the end, Technorians thanked management for organizing such a memorable outdoor activity and sponsoring an appetizing lunch party.

Gujarat is a state responsible for the creation of India’s biggest conglomerates including Adani, Zydus, Arvind, and Torrent and contributing over 8% of the GDP of India. The IT ecosystem in Gujarat has evolved dynamically over the last two decades. However, compared to the manufacturing and trading sector, Gujarat has been lagging in the IT sector. Free Training in New Edge Technologies:
Since the inception of the IT industry, there has been a massive shortage of technical talent pools. The IT industry sees a gap between the knowledge taught to students in academies and the knowledge needed for the job. Because they have little awareness of industry needs, fresh graduates are usually not readily employable from the beginning. Because of that, when hiring new staff, corporates have to invest a significant amount of time and cost to train new employees to help minimize this tech talent gap. Techno Infonet has introduced a Free Training Program in various technologies including React JS, Node JS and Angular to name a few. Apart from training, candidates joining the free training program are also provided with the experience of working on live projects. Moreover, candidates who complete the free training program are also provided with a job opportunity to help kickstart their careers.

4.5 Days Workweek Policy:
Keeping in mind the lack of work-life balance in the IT industry, Techno Infonet introduced the 4.5 days workweek policy in April 2022 to attract and nurture talents in Gujarat. This initiative focuses on setting an example of how employee-centric policies will help improve the work efficiency and loyalty of employees. The 4.5 Day workweek policy is expected to ignite a similar revolution in Gujarat and India.

Sponsoring Events:
Corporate conferences and events have always helped industries grow by connecting businesses with their peers. Hence Techno Infonet is always at the forefront of sponsoring events and making them successful. TiECON Ahmedabad’s annual conference held in September 2022 was inaugurated by Mr Narayana Murthy and powered by Adani Group. Techno Infonet contributed towards organizing the event by becoming the sole web sponsor for the event. Mentoring and helping startups survive during the initial years of inception are extremely important to ensure the long-term growth of any industry. As a company completing over 18 years in the IT industry, Techno Infonet helps budding startups by sharing its secrets and mantra of success. In the year 2022 has mentored various deep-tech startups, especially focusing on education. This initiative is targeted to help fight Gujarat’s paradox of being business giants but startup pygmies.

Nowadays, businesses strive to create a Diwali vibe at work premises by organizing gratifying Diwali celebrations. It contributes heavily to enhancing the work morale of employees and increasing employee engagement.

Techno Infonet joined this trail as well by arranging a humongous Diwali celebration at the premises. Decorating an office is the most important part of the Diwali celebration to give the feel of this enlightening festival. From alleyways to workstations, multicolour lamps, LED lights, diyas, door hanging torans, wall designs, paper lanterns, etc things were used to recreate the look of the office.

Can we imagine a Diwali celebration without traditional attire? No, we certainly cannot. The satisfaction of getting ready for this festival is certainly exhilarating. Enthusiastic Technorians came in mesmerizing traditional outfits for celebrating this festival. The whole workplace was shimmering with the beauty of their colourful attires.

While mentioning the Diwali celebration, how can we forget the oldest tradition of making Rangoli? At the office entrance, Technorians prepared the highly creative Rangoli design from different shapes through bright colours. Moreover, Diwali Puja was also arranged at the premises. It created positive vibes at the office premises and energized Technorians. After that, all staff members greeted and wished Happy Diwali to one another.

How can we complete the celebration without clicking pictures? Technorians posed vibrantly for pictures and clicked funny selfies as well. They certainly captured their happiness in those pictures.

At last, the company management distributed Diwali hamper boxes to all employees. Overall, Technorians greatly enjoyed this celebration and thanked the company for always taking resounding actions toward their welfare.

Being an employee-focused company, Techno Infonet has always made decisions regarding the holistic development of Technorians. The company is determined to uplift the personal as well as professional well-being of the staff. Hence, for the Saturday activity of the month of June, an exclusive yoga session was held at Techno Infonet.

The session started as soon as the yoga trainer arrived at the office premises. First, the session started with a prayer. Afterwards, various stretching exercises and yoga poses were performed by Technorians under the guidance of a trainer.

Second, several pranayama practices were performed with an aim of inner peace. It primarily consisted of Dirga pranayama to calm the mind, Kapalabhati pranayama for complete digestion, and Bhramari pranayama for better sleep. These pranayama practices calmed the nerves and granted the exhilarating feeling of tranquility.

Great results can’t be achieved overnight. It requires a series of thoughtful actions. Techno Infonet initiated a 5-days workweek to achieve the accolade of being a company that employees cherish. That means employees are required to work only 5 days a week.

Work and home are two muses in any employee’s life. It is crucial to manage both simultaneously. When you love your job and are dedicated to it, you will feel triumphant. But what about working one’s fingers to the bone and overdoing every work task? It can be excruciating for the mental health of employees.

Have you seen a spiderweb? A spider intermittently shoves, relaxes, and jumps while slowly striding to make a complete web with its multiple spinnerets and eight legs. Just like a spider, employees can build a career web while working hard, giving time for personal growth, and taking sufficient rest. Running in a rat race is never a solution to climbing the corporate ladder.

Published by ADP Research, ‘People at Work 2021: A Global Workforce View’ survey declared that 70% of Indians experienced stress at least once during the workweek regularly. Techno Infonet received astonishing results after the completion of 1 month of this movement. Based on organization analysis, it was apparent that the movement had significantly affected the performance of employees. The company witnessed an increase in employee productivity due to this change. Moreover, other significant advantages were a high satisfaction rate, enhanced loyalty and focus, low absenteeism, a stress-free work environment, lower fatigue, and amplified employee engagement.

There were no remuneration cuts and employees will continue to receive the same monetary as well as non-monetary benefits even after implementing this policy. Additionally, the number of holidays will also be the same.
